Natasha Kolas is an experienced Social Worker, providing specialist Trauma Informed therapeutic counselling for children, young people and adults.
Natasha is known for her calm and gentle approach and in-depth knowledge of treating trauma.
Natasha works from a Trauma Informed, Client Centred approach. Drawing primarily on training in the areas of Complex PTSD, Developmental trauma, Attachment theory, Neurobiology and Polyvagal theory.
Natasha has completed a Bachelor of Social Work, an Associate Diploma in Social Science Child Studies and training in Specialist Sexual Assault Services, CBT, Sensorimotor Theory, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Mindful Self-Compassion and Expressive Art therapies.
Natasha has 10 years experience with NSW Health Violence, Abuse and Neglect Services – Richmond and Clarence Sexual Assault Services (Indigo House) providing trauma informed crisis response, therapeutic counselling and court support to children, young people and adults who have experienced interpersonal violence.

Natasha has facilitated group work for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse at Heartfelt House, worked at Central Coast NSW Health – Perinatal care team with vulnerable families. As well as had many years experience working in the NGO sector including respite care services for people with disabilities, children in out of home care and Women’s Refuges.
Natasha is currently providing a ten-week Protective Behaviours program for vulnerable children and young people.
